The Community Medicine Department works towards building a Healthy India through arranging awareness camps in and around Alwar. Students flagged off Health Rallies on a range of juncture like World Health Day – 07th April, World T.B. Day – 24th March, AIDS Day – 1st December & International Women Day – 08th March in view to educate various sections of society regarding Health care and disease prevention issues. Nukkar-Natak and corridor play along with banners, posters, cards prepared by students and slogans being communicated in the group rally walk are organized under the guidance of the teachers. Free health check-up camps are set up by the students and doctors of the college in nearby schools in village of Alwar. With the main goal of promoting public health through lectures, demonstrations and workshops, ceremonial seminars have been methodized inside college premises on World Mental Health Day (10th October). Students participate in panel discussions and emphasis is principally on creating positive health environment through mutual interaction and cooperation between the medical men and common people. Students of our college arrange camps for the noble purpose of donating blood for the needy people.
